Important update mailservers

In the past month, we have improved our infrastructure and worked on making email management more user-friendly. Upcoming weekend we will switch to new mail servers. Our old server will be shut down at the end of June.

What's new?

If you do not have a mailbox yet or if you only use email forwarding, you can simply create a new mailbox. We will implement the update step by step during the coming weeks, to make sure that we will not be overwhelmed by new requests. This means that you will have to wait some time before you will be able to create a mailbox. Thank you for your understanding.

Why was this update necessary?

Our mail servers needed to be replaced: they were running since 2010. The new mail servers will be able to manage the growing number of users and are better secured against spammers.

How can I avoid unwanted email?

Check your PC for viruses and spyware
Alternatively, you could use a Mac or Linux operating system: these are less liable to get infected by viruses
Never publish your email address on a website
Choose a password that is hard to guess: this ensures your mailbox will not get hacked
Never open spam mails and never reply to them
